More than 260,000 lights help transform Allentown’s Lehigh Parkway into winter wonderland starting Friday | Allentown Area

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – An Allentown tradition is about to shine once again.

“Lights in the Parkway” drive-thru display returns Friday night for its 29th season.

More than a mile of Lehigh Parkway will be transformed into a winter wonderland.

Organizers say this will be the biggest season yet, with more than 260,000 lights.

And they’ve added some tech to give the drive-thru display a more modern feel.

“Lights in the Parkway” runs through Jan. 6.

And if you would rather take a stroll through the display, there is a free, “Walking Monday” option.
