The Pennsylvania high school football playoffs are on to the state semifinals, with fans being treated to postseason PIAA games all over the state Friday and Saturday.

One of the top games to watch is Springfield-Delco vs. Roman Catholic on Saturday in the Class 5A state semifinals.

The winner will take on either Bishop McDevitt or Peters Township in the PIAA 5A state championship game next week.

Roman Catholic continued to roll through the playoffs last week, cruising past Hollidaysburg 55-20, while Springfield-Delco stayed undefeated with a 34-12 win over Chester.

In the most recent PennLive Class 5A rankings, Roman Catholic (10-3) is No. 1 and Springfield-Delco (14-0) is No. 4.

The quest for a trip to the 2025 PIAA state championships is nearing an end. The finals in all classifications will be played Dec. 4-6 at Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg.
