Weather Alert continues today, mainly for areas south of I-90, where more bands of snow and some squalls expected. The snow, combined with gusty winds, will make travel difficult in those inland snow belts. Weather is not as bad for Erie and the lake shore, but some roads could be slick with the cold temperatures and passing snow bands. Wind gusts over 35 mph will keep wind chills in the teens to near 20, so bundle up as you plan your Friday travels.

We get a break from the snow Saturday. Another winter storm goes to our north, setting off wet snow and rain Saturday night into Sunday. May get some slushy accumulation for morning commuters.
