Olivia Moultrie scored her fifth international goal just 90 seconds into the game and Cat Macario added two goals as the USWNT secured a 3-0 victory over Italy in a Black Friday friendly in Orlando.
This was the first of two matches against the European team over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, with the teams set to face off again on Monday in Fort Lauderdale.
Italy, a semifinalist in the 2025 UEFA Women’s Euro, created several scoring chances throughout the match but couldn’t break through a strong USWNT defense led by captain Naomi Girma, who returned to the backline after missing 149 days due to injury.
