Scranton Prep girls basketball team won the Chic Feldman Memorial Tournament title, defeating Scranton in the final, 47-35, at Lackawanna College. Colleen McLane scored 12 points and was named tournament Most Valuable Player. Kristen Folk had 15 points and 11 rebounds and was chosen to the all-tournament team, while Annie Lavelle came off the bench to contribute eight assists and seven rebounds. … Ryan Stone was credited with deflecting Chris Kelleher’s shot for a power-play goal with 1:47 remaining to give the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton a 3-2 win at the Norfolk Admirals. The victory continues the Penguins’ amazing start to the season, yet to lose in regulation (20-0-2-0) and winning a professional-hockey record 15 straight road games. … Jen King scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Riverside past North Pocono, 49-27, in girls basketball. Tim Toro led the Comets with 14 points and nine rebounds. … Cooper Califano rushed for 259 yards and six touchdowns as Old Forge romped past Bishop McDevitt-Wyncote, 51-7, to advance to the PIAA Class 1A football semifinals. Defensively, the Blue Devils had 11 tackles for loss and forced four turnovers. … Dunmore had its season end in the PIAA Class 2A quarterfinals with a 28-10 loss to West Catholic. Garrett Murray ran for 76 yards and one touchdown, Kyle Lasher added 75 rushing yards and Pat Orr kicked a 31-yard field goal to lead the Bucks (12-2). … Carbondale Area captured the title in the Lake Region Tip-off girls basketball tournament with a 29-21 win over Western Wayne in the final.
