St. Mary of Mount Carmel, Dunmore, was the setting Saturday for the wedding of Caroline Ann Marino and James Timothy Walker, both of Dunmore.

The bride is the daughter of Ralph and Teresa Marino, Dunmore. The bridegroom is the son of Robert and Lynne Walker, Scranton.

The Rev. A.J. Rizzo, S.J., officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony.

Maggie Donato, Dunmore, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Vienna Marino, Old Forge, sister-in-law of the bride; Kate Rogan, Dunmore, sister of the bridegroom; Erin Costanzo, South Abington Twp., sister of the bridegroom; Lucy Doherty, New York City, Frances Doherty, New York City, and Patrice Doherty, Scranton, cousins of the bride; Olivia Hager, West Palm Beach; Celia Ferrario, Dunmore; Sadie McHale, Waymart; Teri Holmes, Dunmore; and Julia Harvey, Brooklyn.

John Speicher, Philadelphia, was best man. Ushers were Kevin Walker, Bobby Walker and Matt Walker, all of Dunmore, brothers of the bridegroom; Patrick Marino, Old Forge, brother of the bride; Conor Ruane, Madison Twp., cousin of the bridegroom; Will Gaynord, Dunmore; and Jerry Walsh, Washington, D.C.

The bride earned a Bachelor of Science in mid-level math education from Penn State University, a Master of Science in educational leadership, and principal certificate from Wilkes University. She is an ELA teacher at Wayne Highlands School District.

The bridegroom earned a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from Penn State University. He is employed by R.J. Walker Co.

The couple took a wedding trip to St. Lucia.
