Carol M. Mark, 82, of Bethlehem Township, surrounded by the love of her family died Friday, April 18, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of John W. Mark with whom she celebrated 60 years of marriage on January 9, 2025. Born in Easton, Carol was the daughter of the late George E. and Irene C. (Buss) Kickline. A 1960 graduate of Wilson High School, she studied nursing at St. Luke’s School of Nursing. She was a licensed practical nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill for a few years after graduation. She was an associate teacher for Intermediate Unit 20 for 20 years before retiring in 2010. Carol was a cuddler for the Pediatric Unit at Good Shepherd for over 10 years. Carol and her therapy dog a Manchester Terrier named Onyx were often seen visiting schools, nursing homes and pediatric units. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Farmersville. She enjoyed spending time with her family at their cabin in Pike County. Carol was a simple woman who asked very little from life, but gave so much with her love of nature, animals, babies, children and children with disabilities. She loved her family and friends. She touched many people in her life and will be missed by all. God Love Carol.

Survivors: Husband, John; children, John G. Mark of Nazareth, Michelle Irwin and her husband William of Ellenville, NY, Denise C. Mark of Bethlehem; daughter-in-law, Lynn K. Mark of Nazareth; grandson, Tyler J. Mark and his companion Gabby Phipps of Effort; beloved dog, Samson. She was predeceased by her beloved therapy dog, Onyx.

Service: Graveside Service 11:00AM Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Farmersville Cemetery, 8095 William Penn Highway, Easton. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
