Fire crews respond to two-alarm fire at rowhome in Allentown | Allentown Area

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Fire crews in Lehigh County responded to a fire at a rowhome on Sunday. 

Officials say that the incident happened in the 1500 block of West Allen Street in Allentown. 

Crews responded just before 3:15 p.m. to the two-alarm fire in a three story row home. 

When crews arrived, heavy smoke and fire were seen coming from the back of the house in the area of the second floor. 

All occupants in the house evacuated safely, and crews cleared the scene just over an hour after the fire was reported. 

The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
