(WJET/WFXP) — Erie High School is kicking off the holiday season with a brilliant and bright tradition.

Tech the Halls features a student-created light display synchronized to holiday music.

Students in engineering, construction, marketing, digital media and computer programming all had a hand in planning and creating the display.

In creating the display, the students learn trade and life skills like time and project management.

The lights will be synced to the festive music broadcast from the student-built radio station.

From 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., there will be items for sale in the front lobby of the school.

This year’s theme is Aliens at Christmas and will run every night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. from Thursday, December 4, to Monday, January 5, 2026.

The display takes place on the front lawn of Erie High School at 3325 Cherry St.
