BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Code Blue has been issued for Monday night for the City of Buffalo and all of Erie County.
The Code Blue shelter at the Buffalo City Mission is open from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Monday night, the shelter is located at 100 East Tupper Street in Buffalo.
A Code Blue is activated when temperatures drop below freezing or 15 degrees Fahrenheit, triggering one of two alerts: Code Blue 32 or Code Blue 15.
Extreme weather conditions near zero degrees trigger an additional response.
