Mary Therese dedicated over 35 years of service to the Scranton School District, where she shared her deep love of learning with countless students. Following her retirement, she continued her vocation as an educator, working alongside her daughter Dorothy at The Children’s Cornerstone-Montessori Preschool & Kindergarten, offering her expertise as a reading specialist.

A woman of great faith, Mary Therese lived her life centered in prayer, trust, and devotion. She cherished the fellowship of her sisters in Christ – her prayer partners Marge McCormack, Christine Loyek, Annette Surgent, and Carol Fisher – as well as her beloved siblings, Anthony and Dorothy, who joined her faithfully each week in prayer and reflection.

She found the greatest joy in spending time with her family, sharing meals, celebrating milestones, and embarking on adventures that created lasting memories for all who loved her.
