MOHNTON, Pa. – A decision about the future of the Mohnton Fire Company Social Quarters is expected later this month.
Officials with the club tell 69 News that members are urged to attend a meeting on December 11th.
A number of posts online indicate the club is closing.
69 News took you inside the social quarters when it reopened in 2021. That came nearly two years after fire damaged the club.
The fire company posted on Facebook, quote: “the closure of the club will not be affecting the operation of the engine crew.”
The fire company says it will continue to serve the borough and surrounding municipalities.
