It’s a sure sign of a storm. People stocking up on salt, shovels, and even snowblowers at local hardware stores.

“We’ve sold three snow blowers already (Monday) in preparation, so it’s been a great day for us,” Patrick Cantelmi, owner of Ace Hardware.

Others will be braving the winter weather Tuesday to get to work

“I have four-wheel drive, I’ll be using that tomorrow, if you don’t have to go to work, stay at home, and if you wanna go, give some time, start early and don’t speed up,” says one driver.

PennDOT shares a similar message.

“Really avoid travel if at all possible but if you do have to go out there drive cautiously give yourself more time to get where you’re going,” says Sean Brown, PennDOT press secretary.
