Remember this scene? It was the Saturday after Thanksgiving last year on Station Road in Harborcreek. Erie recorded over 40 inches of snow that weekend and amounts in North East brok 50 inches. Well, nothing like that in the forecast now, but it’s a good time to prepare for another Erie winter.

If you’re interested in weather, especially winter weather, and you’d like to help us and the National Weather Service know what’s going on where you live, join us Saturday at 2 PM at the Blasco Library for our Winter SKYWARN class.

It’s free and open to the public with all ages welcome and believe me, kids to seniors show up at these events. Even if you don’t want to report conditions in your area, it will be a very informative, friendly, and eye-catching presentation with a break and time for questions.

Hope to see you Saturday, and thanks for your support.
