The Lehigh Valley’s 3rd annual Remote Area Medical pop-up clinic will be held Saturday and Sunday in Bethlehem.

RAM is seeking volunteers to staff its clinic, which will offer free dental, vision and medical services at Northeast Middle School, 1170 Fernwood St.

The first RAM clinic in the Lehigh Valley was held in August 2023 in Allentown and it was a success, according to organizers, treating 245 patients and providing an estimated $90,498 worth of care.

Medical services available will include those offered at most urgent cares. General medical exams will also be available, as well as women’s health exams and diabetic foot care. Lab work available will include HCG tests, cholesterol tests and A1C blood glucose tests.

Eye care services available during the last clinic included basic eye exams and eye health exams. Eyeglasses can be prescribed and made on-site. Dental services offered to patients last year included cleanings, fillings, extractions and dental X-ray work. Patients must choose between dental or vision care due to time restraints.

The patient parking lot at the rear of the building, will open at midnight Friday, and remain open for the duration of the clinic. No ID or medical insurance is required but patients are encouraged to create a profile on the RAM platform to help expedite the registration process at patients.ramusa.org.
