(WHTM)– Speeds have been reduced on much of Interstate 81 on Tuesday morning as snow continues to fall across Central Pennsylvania.

According to PennDOT, speeds have been reduced to 45 miles per hour on I-81 from the Maryland State line to PA 581 in Cumberland and Franklin Counties (North and South) on Tuesday.

Additionally, commercial vehicles are required to remain in the right lane.

511PA said a tier one winter weather restriction was also placed on I-78 from Lebanon County to the New Jersey State line and I-81 from Lebanon County to the New York State line.
