The individual responsible for damaging approximately 50 feet of fencing at a local business has come forward and taken accountability for the incident. The business expressed appreciation for the driver’s integrity, noting that accidents happen and commending the decision to do the right thing.

On the evening of Nov. 27 at around 6:45 p.m., a vehicle entered a local business parking lot and caused damage to approximately 50 feet of fencing before leaving the scene. The Meadville Police Department has been notified and is asking for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle involved.

The vehicle is believed to be a Chevy Traverse with significant damage to the front passenger-side bumper. After leaving the lot, it was seen heading west toward Conneaut Lake.
