OBITUARY
Jane E. Wummer, 99, of Leesport, PA, formerly of South Miller Street, Shillington, PA passed away Thursday, August 21st, at Berks Heim Nursing Home.
Jane was born in New York City, on January 22, 1926, a daughter of the late Anna (Cook) and George C. Hohl.
She was the widow of Carl J. Wummer who predeceased her on 2010.
She was a devoted member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Shillington, PA where she went to mass nearly every single day. She graduated from Muhlenberg High School.
Jane graduated from St Joseph School of Nursing in 1946 and worked as a Registered Nurse and Private Duty Nurse. She also worked for Reading Ambulance Service, a private company owned by her daughter LInda for many years.
Jane is survived by 3 sons Michael A., husband of Kathleen Wummer, of Fleetwood; Gregory P., husband of Mary Jo Wummer, of Pittsburgh, PA; Lawrence J. Wummer, husband of Kimberly McCarey, of Coconut Creek, FL. and many nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Chris and Stephen Mullen, Sarah Dalton, Kate Murphy, Laura Wummer Megan Wummer and Kelly Wummer, Courtney and Brandon Wummer. And four great-grandchildren: Jack, Lucy, James, and Lila.
She was predeceased by her daughter Linda A. Dalton wife of Stephen Dalton of Florida and three siblings: Sr Mary Ellen Hohl, George Hohl Jr. and Georgeanne Rothenberger.

A viewing will be held on September 4th, Thursday, from 9:00- 10:15 AM at Feeney Funeral Home, Procession to cemetery will leave funeral home at 10:30 Am with a Mass of Christian burial at Gethsemane Chapel at 11 Am with Msgr. Grabish officiating.
Interment alongside Her husband Carl will be at Gethsemane Cemetery Laureldale, PA.
