HELLERTOWN, Pa. – Police in Hellertown, Northampton County say a man attacked another man with a hammer while the victim was holding a baby.
David Corbett, 63, of Hellertown, is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and simple assault, according to a news release from borough police.
Officers responded to the 1500 block of Brookstone Place on Nov. 29 after the report of a man who was attacked with a hammer, borough police said.
Police saw a laceration on the victim’s head, according to the news release.
Borough police said the man had a baby in his arms while he was being attacked. Corbett then pulled a handgun on the other man and threatened to shoot him, police said.
