READING, Pa. – Reading Hospital is celebrating a record-breaking No-Shave November campaign.
The annual fundraiser supports men’s health initiatives at the McGlinn Cancer Institute.
Each year, hospital employees, local businesses and members of the community team up to gather donations.
This year, the campaign broke its record for the fifth year in a row.
“As of tonight, when we started the event, we are now over $80,000 raised for the McGlinn Cancer Institute,” said Alec Reinert, director of annual giving for the Reading Hospital Foundation. “We’re just really grateful and thankful for our community, the individuals and all the local businesses that have helped us out throughout this campaign.”
Thursday’s wrap party celebrated another successful year and recognized some of the highest fundraisers.
Even though December is over, you can still donate to the cause on the hospital’s GoFundMe page.
