Friends of the Scranton Public Library are holding a book sale through Saturday at the Marketplace at Steamtown on the second-floor open area outside Crunch Fitness. The sale includes not just print books but CDs, DVDs, audiobooks and other items. The sale continues Friday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2.p.m. On Saturday, patrons can fill a Friends tote bag for $5, and books will be free for teachers and people who work for nonprofits.
