The NE Pa. Music Teachers Association (NEPMTA), in conjunction with the “NEPA’s Got Talent” show, recently presented music scholarships to three high school seniors who will continue their music studies in college. From left: Grace Campbell, a piano student of NEPMTA member Roxanne Condell, a music major in the fall at Marywood University; Pamela Carroll, NEPMTA member accepting the scholarship for her piano student Blake Seiwell, who will enter the U.S. Marine Corps and has been accepted into the Marine Corps Band; and Andrea Bogusko, president of NEPMTA, accepting the scholarship for Devon Winters, entering Penn State University, Main Campus, as a music minor and psychology major. He studies voice with NEPMTA member Marianna Stahl. Scholarships were made available to music majors or minors as sponsored by the NEPMTA’s annual “NEPA’s Got Talent” show, which raises money for the scholarships.
