Chloe Mamera had 28 points to lead Scranton Prep to a 51-24 nonleague girls basketball win at Bethlehem Liberty on Saturday.
Mamera scored 21 of her points in the second half, including all 17 of the Classics’ points in the third quarter that enabled them to extend a 10-point halftime lead to 40-17 heading into the fourth quarter.
Eva Kaszuba added 11 points, and Shannon Bestrycki chipped in eight points for the top-ranked Classics (2-0).
Ava Kapetskie had 12 points for Liberty (1-2).
Abington Heights 39, Reading 23: At State College, Emma Coleman had 15 points and five steals as No. 3 Abington Heights won the consolation game of the State College Tipoff Tournament.
Coleman was named to the all-tournament team.
Avary Brister added 10 points for the No. 3 Lady Comets (2-1), while Lily Scoblick and Sydney Pallman each grabbed eight rebounds.
Mountain View 73, Pocono Mountain East 42: At Pocono Mountain East, Addison Kilmer had 34 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead the No. 7 Lady Eagles to a nonleague win.
Aubrey Sanders added 16 points, and Emily Trichilo chipped in 11 for Mountain View (3-0).
Ava Watson had 10 points for Pocono Mountain East (1-2).
Holy Cross 59, Montrose 39: At Holy Cross, Mollie Urban had 15 points to lead the No. 10 Lady Crusaders to a nonleague win.
Ava Schmidt added 14 points, and Lila Kolcharno had four 3-pointers for 12 points for Holy Cross (1-1).
Sadie Jones had 21 points for the Lady Meteors (0-3).
Carbondale Area 43, Lakeland 41: At Carbondale Area, the host Chargerettes erased a seven-point deficit in the fourth quarter to defeat Lakeland in a nonleague game.
Maureen Newcomb scored 19 points for Carbondale Area (2-1), seven of which came during the fourth-quarter comeback. Alexis Nykaza also had seven points in the fourth quarter and finished with 11.
Reina Walters and Olivia Cunningham each had 11 points for Lakeland (1-1).
