N. CATASAUQUA, Pa. – Santa was in Northampton County for breakfast with the Catasauqua community!
The Chapman Masonic Lodge hosted the event on Sunday morning.
They started it as a community outreach event 3 year ago – and its since grown into a philanthropic event.
Since the breakfast fell on Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day — this year they chose the Northampton American Legion as their beneficiary.
Those with the temple say participation has only grown in the past few years.
“The first year we actually had about 176 folks. Last year, we had a lot of community involvement, a lot of community donations. We actually had 312 participants last year. This year, we’re expected somewhere around 400,” said Rich Mullen, Jr. Warden of Chapman Lodge #637.
Donations also benefitted the Northampton Middle School food drive.
