Muhlenberg Township Police Department personnel will be at two local warehouse membership clubs on Friday as part of their annual holiday food drive.
Officers will be at Sam’s Club’s Temple store from 8 to 11 a.m. to collect donations of nonperishable food items. They will be at BJ’s Wholesale Club in Hyde Park from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Donations will be received only during those times. There are no drop-off bins this year.
For the past several years, Muhlenberg Police Department members have selected a date, either before Thanksgiving or before Christmas, to hold the food drive to help the community, Sgt. Andrew Swoyer said.
This year’s donations will be given to Keystone Military Families.
