‘Minion House’ brings joy to a Verona neighborhood for the holidays

Dozens of “minions” are on display at the home of Allen and Patty Thomas in Verona, Allegheny County.

There are 60 of the yellow creatures across the lawn at the “Minion house” on White Oak Drive, creating quite an attraction for the holiday season.

Allen Thomas said he created the display “to give back a little bit.”

“A lot of people say we should put out a basket to collect for the lights and stuff, but that’s not what it’s all about. … I just want to give a little joy, and this is what I can give back,” he said.
