WYOMISSING, Pa. – A tax hike is on the table for Berks County’s most populous borough.

Wyomissing Borough Council will meet Tuesday to discuss the budget, which includes a 22% tax hike for next year.

Officials say the hike will help fund road work, emergency management, and fire services, as well as many other projects and initiatives.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. tomorrow at borough hall.
