Scranton police seek public help after chihuahua found in dumpster

SCRANTON, Pa. — Police are seeking answers after a dog was found in a dumpster in Lackawanna County. 

The Scranton Police Department is asking the public to assist with any information regarding the owner of a chihuahua that was found in a dumpster along the 500 block of North St. Frances Cabrini Avenue on Saturday. 

The suspect or suspects are wanted for questioning for a possible animal abuse investigation.
