Colin Farrell led Holy Cross’s balanced scoring attack with 17 points to lead Holy Cross to a 58-42 win over Pittston Area in a nonleague boys basketball game on Monday.
Thomas Gavin scored 15 points for the Crusaders (2-1), while Adam Badyrka, Cole Gavin and Jack Alpert each scored eight.
Lucas LoPresto led Pittston Area with 11 points. Jacob Ivey and Brennan Callahan each scored 10.
Dunmore 79, Mountain View 39: Carter Sload scored nine of his 18 points and Brayden Canavan had eight of his 18 points in a 34-point first-quarter outburst by the third-ranked Bucks.
Nate Aviles also scored 18 points, and Jimmy Clark had 11 for Dunmore (4-0).
Hudson Bain scored 15 points for Mountain View (0-4).
Old Forge 69, Montrose 40: Cameron Parker scored 18 points and Logan Fanning added 15 to lead a balanced attack for the eighth-ranked Blue Devils.

Executive Education 62, Scranton 58: Eshaan Tung scored 25 points, including two in overtime, to lift Executive (3-0) to a victory on Sunday.

Tunkhannock 36, Mid Valley 32: At Tunkhannock, the Tigers trailed by six after one quarter, but used an 18-4 edge in the third quarter to rally past the Spartanettes.
Aliyah Faux and Elizabeth Moore combined for 24 of the 36 points as Faux led Tunkhannock with 13 points. Moore ended with 11.
Giada Vagni had 10 points to lead Mid Valley, and MacKenzie Richards added nine.
