Police pursuit leads to K-9 drug search in Philadelphia’s Strawberry Mansion neighborhood

A police pursuit in Philadelphia led to a K-9 unit searching the vehicle for drugs early Tuesday morning.

The Action Cam was at the end of the chase in Strawberry Mansion around 12:30 a.m.

Police say they began pursuing the black Acura in West Philadelphia before the driver finally came to a stop near North 33rd and West Norris streets.

They took one person into custody, while the police K-9 searched the vehicle for narcotics.

There are no reports of any injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
