Winds pick up today, with gusts to 35 mph. Some snow showers develop early this afternoon. It will be a quick hit, with snow ending by mid afternoon. Large storm system will set off wet snow by midnight and it will continue into daybreak Wednesday. Erie gets about an inch, with up to 3-4” in the snow belts. This will make for a difficult situation for morning commuters Wednesday. Rain and sleet will mix in with the snow during the morning tomorrow as temperatures rise to near 40. Cold front moves through late in the day tomorrow, creating some lake effect snow bands into Thursday.
We are not done with the snow this weekend. Another in a series of storm systems will bring more snow into the area, along with some cold temperatures.
