Police responded to the Jermyn Apartments in Downtown Scranton Tuesday for a reported stabbing with multiple injuries.

Police and emergency medical services were called to the former Hotel Jermyn at about 6:15 p.m.

“The Scranton Police Department is investigating a stabbing at the Jermyn Apartments on Biden Street,” Police Chief Thomas Carroll said. “Three persons are currently being treated for wounds at local hospitals. The actor is in custody.”

Thomas said the investigation was active and updates would be provided at a later time.

Police closed the area of the 300 block of Biden Street.
