Roe scored 10 points in the first quarter, which ignited the Cougars’ offense.
Noah Symuleski contributed 13 points, Marco Ruby scored 10, including hitting two 3-pointers, and Jagger Roe and Colin Witkowski each also scored 10 for the balanced Valley View (3-0) attack.
Levi Martin scored 20 points, and Gavin Briggs had 13 for Honesdale (2-2).
Mid Valley 48, Carbondale Area 39: Landon Pratt scored 16 points to lead the Spartans to a nonleague win.
Zack Buza scored 14 points and Jeremy Cali made five free throws in the fourth quarter to secure the win for Mid Valley (2-1).
Cameron Williams scored 14 points and Francisco Roman added 12 for Carbondale Area (1-3).
Blue Ridge 62, Wyoming Seminary 56: At Wyoming Seminary, Landon Bishop scored a team-high 21 points and Paxton Pingarelli scored 18 to lead Blue Ridge to the nonleague victory.
RJ Gernhardt led Wyoming Seminary with 30 points. Evan Davis added 11.
Dallas 64, Abington Heights 46: Pat Flanagan scored 20 points to lead the undefeated Mountaineers to a nonleague win.
Dallas overcame an eight-point deficit after the first quarter by outscoring the Comets, 30-18, in the second and third quarters. Chris Flanagan scored eight of his 10 points during the surge by the Mountaineers.
Tyce Mason added 12 points and Kael Berry hit three 3-pointers and finished with 10 points for Dallas (4-0).
Jordan Shaffer scored 17 points, including 10 during a 24-point first quarter by Abington Heights. Brady Comstock added 10 points for the second-ranked Comets (2-1).
Wilkes-Barre Area 60, West Scranton 38: At Scranton High School, Mike Keating scored 21 points and David Jannuzzi had 19 to lead the Wolfpack over West Scranton in a nonleague game.
Jacob Johnson scored 10 points for Wilkes-Barre Area (3-1) while Robert Fuentes scored nine.
Nate Schimelfenig and Jahmeir Rivera each scored 13 points for West Scranton (1-4).
Girls basketball
Ella Clementoni scored 14 points and Anna Clementoni added 12 to lead the third-ranked North Pocono to a 58-25 nonleague win over Wilkes-Barre Area.
Julia Biko contributed 11 points, and Celia DeCesare scored 10 for North Pocono (4-0).
Jaida Underwood scored 20 of the team’s 25 points for Wilkes-Barre Area (2-2).
Wyoming Valley West 50, Carbondale 8: At Valley West, Thalia Irizarry scored 11 points and Ava Yancey added 10 to lead Valley West to a nonleague victory.
Rebecca Staniecki scored eight points and Sam Eckert four for the Spartans.
