Third person charged in alleged daycare abuse case in Scranton

Vanessa Molina-Ramos is charged with simple assault and endangering the welfare of children.

SCRANTON, Pa. — Another staff member faces charges in a child abuse investigation at a daycare in Scranton.

Police say Vanessa Molina-Ramos slapped a 1-year-old and pulled his hair while working at Learn and Grow Early Childhood Daycare Center along Saint Ann Street.

She is charged with simple assault and endangering the welfare of children.

Both owners of the daycare, Erin Pallo and Amy Ware, also face charges in this child abuse investigation in Scranton.
