Multiple crashes were reported across Berks County as adverse weather conditions affected roadways Wednesday afternoon and evening.

One accident after 5:30 in Alsace Township damaged at least three vehicles and created a large debris field at Hillview Road, Elizabeth Avenue and Pricetown Road.

Emergency services tended to one patient at the scene, according to emergency reports.

Another pileup was reported in Wyomissing on Route 422 eastbound just before the North Wyomissing Boulevard exit. It involved four vehicles and reportedly injured one driver.

In Centre Township, a sedan reportedly crashed into a barn in the 700 block of Bellemans Church Road at 3:45 p.m. The driver was out of the vehicle at the time the incident was called in.

A pick up truck flipped on its side in Greenwich Township in the 300 block of Church Hill Road. The occupant was out of truck and injuries were unknown, reports said.
