The Original BYOB Holiday Lights Trolley

If you ever wanted to peruse around the city and check out charming neighborhood lights while sipping on some spirits, this trolley tour is the pick for you. While on the Jolly Trolley, the roving vehicle will be decked out with holiday decorations while making stops at the city’s most popular holiday light displays, including Christmas Village, Miracle on South 13th Street, the Franklin Square Electrical Spectacle, Winter at Dilworth Park and Winterfest along the Delaware River Waterfront.

Plus, the Lights Tour will once again feature live local musicians performing festive sets on board (the schedule will rotate.) This year, guests are also invited to bring a holiday ornament marked with their Instagram handle. Each week, one ornament will be selected, and its creator will win special prizes throughout the season, a release notes. The light tour will run on select dates through Dec. 30. Tickets cost $60+ and are available online.

Vintner Wonderland

Now through Jan. 19, Philadelphians can check out everything Vinter Wonderland at Renault Winery has to offer. Located a short drive away from the city (Egg Harbor Township to be exact), the South Jersey winery has been transformed into “a scene from a Hallmark movie” with the entire estate decked out for the holiday season.

The experience is bringing back its Barrel Train experience, the “Grinch’s Lair” pop-up bar, a photo-ready space in Santa’s Workshop, an updated lounge/wine bar, and a sweet shop serving up different treats like a ginormous hot chocolate. Returning fan-favorites include the ice rink, Vinter Village with a variety of vendors, family-friendly activities (like face painting and crafts), and the Renault’s famous Barrel Tree.

For those seeking a more private experience, Renault offers bubble igloos, fire pits, and cabin cabanas to rent. Locals can also upgrade their experience by booking a stay at the Chateau Renault Hotel. The Magic of Vintner Package there offers a private fire pit, private cabana access, a $100 food and beverage credit, a bottle of Renault wine, a s’mores kit and ice skating tickets for $369 a night. There’s also a Winter Escape package for a lower price that offers a $50 credit, a wine flight for two and a bottle of Renault wine.
