Rain and snow for Erie today, with less than an inch of additional accumulation. However, inland snow belts could see several inches of wet snow, mixing with rain at times. Take special care on the roadways when you are traveling. Frontal system will set off snow this evening, then lake effect snow bands develop. Steadiest snows inland with some good snow amounts toward east Erie county into Warren and Chautauqua counties.
Storm system will bring some snow bands for the weekend, and potential lake effect snow bands in the snow belts. Could be some good accumulations in the belts as temps stay in the 20s.
