Lower Saucon Township Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who they say used a counterfeit $100 bill to pay for food at a local restaurant.

According to a post on the department’s Crimewatch site, the man used the phony money to pay for his bill at Feasta Pizza, 1826 Leithsville Road, Hellertown, around 8:15 p.m. Dec. 9.

Police shared a surveillance image of the man in which he appears to be wearing a face mask.

Anyone with information or who can identify the man is asked to submit a tip through the department’s Crimewatch Tipline or contact Ofc. Zach Pritchard at 610-317-6110 or zpritchard@lowersaucontownship.org.

“Your help is crucial in preventing further incidents of counterfeit currency use in our community,” police said. “We appreciate your cooperation and vigilance in keeping Lower Saucon Township safe.”
