PENNSYLVANIA (WJAC) — More black bears have been harvested in Pennsylvania this year compared to last year, despite a shorter archery season.
As of December 8, hunters across the state reported at least 209 more black bears, according to the PA Game Commission.
There is still a chance to hunt black bears in the state; you can go out in the wildlife management units that are closest to Pittsburgh and Philadelphia through December 13.
