Bethlehem Catholic’s wrestling team overcame a 14-point deficit by winning five consecutive bouts and defeated host Northampton 38-27 on Wednesday night.
A 10-3 decision by Northampton’s Benjamin Schoenberger at 107 pounds gave the Konkrete Kids a 24-10 advantage after seven bouts.
Guiseppe Bozzi started the Golden Hawks’ rally with a 21-6 technical fall at 114. Nico Emili accepted a forfeit at 121.
Jack Cole pushed Bethlehem Catholic ahead with a 43-second fall at 127. Reef Dillard (133) and Keanu Dillard (139) sealed the victory with a pin and tech fall, respectively.
The match started at 152, and Northampton jumped out to a 15-0 lead thanks to pins by Chase Grabfelder and Gabriel Ballard sandwiched around a decision from Carter Chlebove.
Zack Papcsy and Connor Gillahan also registered bonus-point victories for the Golden Hawks, who bounced back from a season-opening upset against Emmaus.
