A motorcyclist has died following a crash that took place in the City of Pittston on Thursday night, according to the Luzerne County Coroner’s Office.
Kylie Vanosdol, 19, of Pittston, was operating a motorcycle that crashed in the area of South Main Street and Kennedy Boulevard after 9 p.m., Coroner Dion Fernandes said.
Vanosdol, who was wearing a helmet, was rushed to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Plains Twp., where she was pronounced dead, he said.
No autopsy was planned.
The crash remains under investigation by Pittston police.
