‘Journey to Bethlehem’ this weekend in Sulphur

SULPHUR — Houston River Baptist Church is inviting the community to step back in time this weekend for their annual presentation, “Journey to Bethlehem.”
This free, family-friendly event offers a guided, immersive walk-through experience recreating the sights, sounds, and setting of the town of Bethlehem over 2,000 years ago.
The experience will guide guests through a living historical scene, complete with actors portraying Roman soldiers, census takers, tax collectors, and merchants. The journey culminates in the depiction of the nativity scene, sharing the true story of Christmas.
The event is set for 6-8 p.m.-FridaySunday nights, Dec. 12-14. Admission is free and refreshments will be served after the tour.
