The Strausstown Fire Chief tells us the fire burned for a while before they arrived, and it didn’t take long to get under control.

No one was hurt in the fire, but some firefighters slipped on ice while working.

The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal believes the fire may have been caused by an electrical issue in the business’ office, but investigators are working to make a final determination.

Fire officials say the building, which has been part of the community for more than 60 years, is a total loss.
