Police shot a man Saturday morning as he fled from police in a stolen car in Pittsburgh, according to Pennsylvania State Police. According to investigators, the incident happened just before 9:40 a.m. Saturday. A state patrol trooper noticed a stolen vehicle on eastbound Interstate 376. When troopers tried to pull the driver over, he sped off. According to state police, the chase continued to Crane Avenue near the intersection of Saw Mill Run Boulevard in Pittsburgh. That’s where police say the driver jumped out of the vehicle and continued running from police. State police say during the foot chase a state trooper shot the man.
