Upon completion, the company’s current store and fuel facility located at 3015 West Emmaus Ave. in Allentown will close.

The new South Mall store will occupy the site of a former Bon-Ton department store, which closed in 2018. It will feature a newly reconfigured parking lot.
Signs inside the South Mall indicate that the new Giant store is “coming 2025,” but an exact opening date is still unclear.
In response to an e-mail inquiry sent on Monday, Giant spokesperson Ashley Flower told 69 News that details will be shared “in the near future.”
