Investigation underway after 16-year-old killed in Scranton shooting

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — An investigation is underway after a shooting death in Scranton.

It happened Friday night at a home on the 1300 block of Bryn Mawr Avenue.

The Lackawanna County coroner says a 16-year-old boy from Taylor died at the hospital after he was shot.

The coroner has not ruled on the manner of death, which is pending the outcome of the investigation.
