Woman struck by vehicle in Scranton dies from injuries

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Officials say a woman has died from injuries after she and a man were struck by a car while on foot.

It happened Thursday evening at Harrison Avenue and Mulberry Street in Scranton.

The two pedestrians were struck in traffic and taken to Geisinger CMC.

There is no word on the injured man’s condition or if the driver will face charges.
