On Monday at 9:20 p.m. the National Weather Service released a winter weather advisory in effect until Tuesday at 7 a.m. for Erie and Genesee counties.
The weather service adds to anticipate, “Additional snow accumulations up to 2 inches in the most persistent lake snows.”
“Plan on snow covered and slippery road conditions with reduced visibility,” says the weather service. “Lake effect snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling, be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.”
