PHILADELPHIA — Authorities are investigating a video posted to TikTok that may be connected to the disappearance of Kada Scott, a 23-year-old woman who vanished nearly two weeks ago while working at an assisted living facility in Philadelphia.

The video, which shows a man peering through a window from outside a home, was shared by a woman who claimed the man was attempting to break in.

Police told ABC News they believe the man in the video is Keon King, 21, who has been charged with kidnapping and recklessly endangering another person in connection with Scott’s disappearance.

The video is now part of the investigation. It’s unclear when or where this video was taken.

The desperate search for a missing 23-year-old Philadelphia woman has been ongoing for nearly two weeks, and her family is pleading for people to come forward with any information.

Scott was reportedly mid-shift when she disappeared. At a news conference earlier this week, First Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore said, “We need to find Ms. Scott, figure out where she is, what may have happened to her to cause her to completely disappear from all her items, her phone.”

Investigators say Scott was last in contact with King, who is being held on $2.5 million bail.

Before she went missing, Scott told relatives she was being harassed, though it remains unclear whether King was the person she referred to.

Officials say King has a history of similar offenses.

Keon King

“He did have a previous case. It was a 2025 case for very similar conduct, strangulation and kidnapping,” said Assistant District Attorney Ashley Toczylowski. “That case had been withdrawn by our office based on the witness failing to appear at court. I pulled that file, and after an extensive review of it, our office made the decision to refile those charges.”

Police say tips from the public have been instrumental in the investigation, including one that led them to King’s vehicle.

Scott’s family continues to plead for help, even offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to her safe return.

“If you have any information, small, large, minuscule, please reach out to the Philadelphia Police Department and let them know. That may be the piece that they’re looking for. We all miss her, we want her home,” said her father, Kevin Scott.

King’s next court appearance is scheduled for early November.
