HARRISBURG, Pa. – A Lehigh County-based cleaning business has swept up a top statewide accolade.
The Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry has announced that Hocus Pocus Cleaning of Schnecksville and The Lexis Group, LLC of Harrisburg as the inaugural winners of the PA Chamber’s 2025 “Small Business of the Year Awards” – a celebration of economic excellence and the entrepreneurial spirit driving small businesses across the Commonwealth.
Since the application period opened in October, small businesses from diverse industries and regions submitted entries.
The PA Chamber is honoring these two 2025 PA Small Business of the Year Award winners along with other distinguished honorees who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in areas such as growth, innovation, community engagement and entrepreneurial spirit.
“Together, these businesses are driving their local economies and moving Pennsylvania forward,” the release states.
“We were blown away by the quality of submissions for the Small Business of the Year Award, but not surprised given the unmatched work ethic and ingenuity of Pennsylvania’s small businesses,” said Luke Bernstein, PA Chamber’s president and CEO.
“While the choice was difficult, we are thrilled to award Hocus Pocus Cleaning and The Lexis Group with the top honors, as these incredible women-owned companies demonstrate smart leadership, strong culture, intentional community engagement, and commitment to innovation and operational excellence. We are proud to provide these trailblazers with a complimentary year-long PA Chamber Investor Membership, and we applaud all honorees for making Pennsylvania a great place to live, work, and operate a business.”
Since 2016, Hocus Pocus Cleaning Services has helped over 2,500 Lehigh Valley clients “trade stress for sparkle,” according to a message on the business’ website.
“With 400+ five-star Google reviews & a fairy-led team of professionals, Hocus Pocus Cleaning delivers spotless homes, happy pets, and mental calm: all with eco-friendly magic and pet-safe care,” the message continues.
Hocus Pocus Cleaning offers a fully tailored approach to cleaning that leaves no corner untouched.
Team members handle a wide array of tasks, including cleaning cobwebs, air vents, light fixtures, ceiling fans, mirrors and tabletop appliances, along with disinfecting surfaces, dusting and polishing furniture and vacuuming and mopping floors.
Clients can choose one-time or recurring services.
“Provide your space details, and we’ll design a plan that fits your needs and schedule,” an online message reads. “From start to finish, we handle every step — so you can enjoy a spotless home or office without the hassle.”
Hocus Pocus Cleaning also offers window cleaning, grout cleaning, deep floor cleaning, dish washing, stainless steel scratch repair, hard water stain removal, linen changing, trash removal and baseboard rehabilitation, along with pet services that include pet sitting, dog walking and waste clean-up.
The cleaning company, led by founder and managing director Rosie Selvaggio, is dedicated to empowering women, prioritizing mental health and fostering teamwork.

Alongside Hocus Pocus Cleaning, the other winner of 2025 PA Small Business of the Year Award is Harrisburg-based The Lexis Group, LLC, a federal and state certified disadvantaged, woman-owned business enterprise providing professional services in civil engineering, subsurface utility engineering, survey, landscape architecture and construction inspection/construction management services.
